McKenna was born in the Utah Rockies, raised on Shakespeare, stories and magik, and is determined to make a career out of the above.

Film work includes a supporting role opposite Roger Clark in Round the Decay (Dreamscape Productions), with additional leading roles in Barbizon (Secret Beach Productions), Camp Hallow (Camp Hallow Productions), Everwinter Night (Dreamscape Productions) and Lamia, a fantasy film inspired by Basque Mythology, with multiple film festival awards.
From her home studio, McKenna has narrated and produced multiple Audible audiobooks, as well as character VO work in videogames (Hermes Runner). Her home studio is fitted with a Shure MV7 microphone, Shure RK345 windscreen, professional sound proofing, and usually a forgotten cuppa tea.
A regular immersive theater performer, her work includes Undersigned (Guardian Reviewed) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Underbelly) Possessions at the Surrealist Ball in NYC. She is also a returning performer with Doors of Divergence, Cirque du Nuit, The Haven, and Undersigned, as it continually tours. ​

Alumni to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) 3 year conservatory, McKenna has training from the Upright Citizens Brigade, NYC Stage Combat (NYCSS), and the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
